SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY PHILOSOPHY-BASED ADMINISTRATION OF PHRAPARIYATTIDHAM SCHOOL UNDER GENERAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT IN LOEI PROVINCE

Abstract

               The objectives of the research article were (1) to study administration, based on the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, of Phrapariyattidham Schools under General Education Department in Loei province, and (2) to compare the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy-based administration of Phrapariyattidham school for General Education Department in Loei province, classified by the respondents’ gender, age, and educational level. The population of the research was a total of 336 executives, teachers and personnel in Phrapariyattidham Schools under General Education Department in Loei province; the 118 samples were selected through the stratified random sampling. The instrument used for data collection was the five-point rating scale questionnaire with its reliability of 0.893. The statistics used for data analysis comprised of mean, standard deviation, the t-test, the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and L.S.D. method (Fisher’s).


               The findings of the research were as follows:


               1) The Sufficiency Economy Philosophy-based administration of Phrapariyattidham Schools under General Education Department in Loei province was found to be overall at a high level. Separately considered in the descending order, the aspects were policy administration, academic administration, general administration and budget administration.


            2) The comparison of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy-based administration in Phrapariyattidham Schools under General Education School in Loei province, classified by the respondents’ gender and age, was found to be different at a statistically significant level of 0.05, but it was not found different, classified by the respondents’ age and educational level.
