PARTICIPATION OF POPULATION IN SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN NA-O SUB-DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, LOEI PROVINCE

Abstract

               This research aimed to (1) study participation in solid waste management, and 2) propose a community waste management in Na-O Sub-District Municipality, Loei Province. This research is a mixed method research. The sample was family heads 320 persons in Na-O Sub-District Municipality, Loei Province. Statistics were frequency, percentage, means, and standard deviation. And interviews with 7 qualified persons to find out how to develop, analyze data with content analysis.

               The research result found that (1) The participation in solid waste management in Na-O Sub-District Municipality, Loei Province was found at a high level.. (2) The community waste management approach should; Promote the development of waste management technology to be suitable for space constraints, Promotion of waste management within the community, Creating a manual on waste separation, Including publicizing the waste sorting through different channels, There is an incentive to separate waste, and Organizing to facilitate the collection and sorting of waste
